SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 27th 2014 - Apurba Technologies Inc., a Sunnyvale, CA, based software development company that creates enterprise data solutions for data processing, visualization and analytics, announced today that Apurba's CEO, Fuad Rahman and CTO, Ari Mitra were invited on a panel chaired by Masatomo Goto (Fujitsu Labs of Europe Ltd) at a workshop entitled, "International Workshop on Exploiting Big Data In Commerce and Finance.

Fuad and Ari presented a paper, "Distributed Processing of Large Scale Financial 'big data' from Desperate sources using an Event Bus Architecture".

This presentation put forward both a strategy and implementation of how to coordinate communication between software components in an ecosystem of technologies directed to processing financial big data.

The solution assumed that this ecosystem had to mash up data from many sources. On a play of words 'desperate' instead of 'disparate', this presentation rather humorously addresses the issues when dealing with information sources that operate very differently indeed and getting teams of software engineers to coordinate their efforts.

The workshop ended with an hours lively panel discussion which involved Q/A between the audience and panelists.

Apurba wishes to express our heartfelt thanks to Masatomo Goto of Fujitsu Labs UK for inviting Apurba's CEO and CTO to take part.
